Improved road dual carriageway links to the M4 which terminates near Carmarthen means that Pembrokeshire is now around two-hour drive of the Severn Crossing. The are regular car- ferry services to Ireland from Fishguard and the Port of Pembroke.

If you are travelling westwards on the M4 or the A40 follow the A40 dual carriageway from Carmarthen. to Haverfordwest. If you are coming from the North follow the A487 from Cardigan. Branch off left after Eglwyswrw on to the B4329 to Haverfordwest. Follow the direction signs for Broad Haven from Haverfordwest. There is a railway station at Haverfordwest and a regular bus service to Broad Haven.
